Another Busy, Beautiful Weekend at the Rescue! {Or as the goats call it: Snack Distribution Day, lol!}

We had such a heartwarming weekend here at the rescue!
Jennifer stopped by with her adorable grandkids — Thea and Declan — and let me tell you… these two walked in like tiny ranch bosses ready to inspect every horse, goat, and bucket of hay on the property.
Declan especially loved the horses — he was out there feeding carrots like he was running a five-star equine buffet.
The horses absolutely approved.
Meanwhile, behind the scenes…
Brian delivered 40 bales of gorgeous prairie hay, and the horses immediately began planning how fast they could make it disappear.
(Answer: very fast. Extremely fast. Faster than humanly possible.)
David and Mark jumped in with some weekend muscle — setting a post and hanging the garden gate like true ranch superheroes.
We’re already dreaming about Spring 2026 — all the planting, growing, and blooming ahead — even as we gear up for winter prep.
Huge thank you to everyone who visited, helped, donated, delivered hay, fed snacks, or simply loved on the animals this weekend.
Your kindness keeps this place alive.
Come visit us again — the animals will be waiting (with hopeful snack-faces).
